Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our esteemed Manufacturing & Supply Chain team in a remote capacity. This pivotal role entails the oversight of tool crib operations, focusing on optimizing part storage and guiding team members in their daily responsibilities. You will balance your time between desk-based tasks and engaging with the shop floor to actively support crib attendants in executing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations of the tool crib, ensuring optimal storage efficiency for parts and supplies.
- Lead the crib team in their daily activities and project execution.
- Analyze operational data and prepare reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and management across all levels, fostering a cooperative work environment.
- Maintain professional communication with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure clear and effective interactions.
- Prioritize and manage projects to adhere to deadlines.
- Occasionally operate a forklift (certification is required).
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including intermediate to advanced functions such as VLOOKUP and template creation.
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint for effective presentations.
- Strong written communication skills, including spelling and grammar proficiency.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Basic understanding of warehouse or industrial supply chain operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 2-4 years of supervisory or management experience in a warehouse or industrial environment (internships are considered).
