Our dynamic and rapidly expanding company is looking for a seasoned financial professional to join our team in the role of Permanent Controller. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with a solid background in finance to play a pivotal role in the financial management and strategic planning of our organization.

The Permanent Controller will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial systems, including financial reporting, general ledger, cash flow management, and financial auditing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance, and a proven track record in strategic planning. This role requires a hands-on leader with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations of the company including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations and standards.
  • Manage and maintain the general ledger and reconcile all financial accounts.
  • Oversee the financial auditing process, ensuring all financial statements and reports are accurate and complete.
  • Manage cash flow and forecasting, developing strategies to optimize company financial performance.
  • Participate in strategic planning, including the development of company financial strategies and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to streamline financial processes and improve financial efficiency.
  • Provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers to the senior management team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably as a Controller.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, general ledger, financial auditing, and cash flow management.
  • Exceptional strategic planning and financial analysis skills.
  • Proficient in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
