Job Description

The Caregiver role exists to provide direct care to the clients of TLC Caregivers, including private clients, clients through contracts with home and community-based programs, and developmental services. They encourage independence and community involvement and promote the well-being of the clients in a safe environment. On an as-needed basis, Caregivers will also provide clients with the following services:

• Bathing, grooming and oral care
• Dressing and undressing
• Toileting assistance
• Feeding and meal preparation
• Transportation and mobility assistance(i.e. walking and transferring)
• Light housekeeping, including changing bed linens
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Maintaining an orderly, clean and positive environment
• Companionship and conversation

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• 6 months verifiable caregiving experience
• Reliable transportation
• Able to work weekends
• Able to pass a Level 2 background screen and 10-panel drug test
