Position Overview

As a Debt Defense Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our legal team, providing integral support to our partners, attorneys, and paralegals in various legal tasks and administrative duties. This fully remote position requires a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel
  • Assist attorneys and paralegals with various requests
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings and discovery materials

 

  • Maintain accurate client files, manage calendars, and assist in case management
  • Communicate effectively with opposing counsel and judicial assistants
  • Undertake additional relevant tasks as assigned

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook (preferred)
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and a positive team-oriented mindset

Qualifications

  • College diploma
  • Prior experience in a remote work setting (preferred)

  • Competitive salary between \(36,000 and \)45,000 per year, based on experience
