Requirements and Qualifications:
Passion for Writing: An evident passion for writing and a strong desire to nurture and support young writers in their creative journey.
Excellent Writing Skills: Exceptional written communication skills and a keen eye for detail to provide valuable feedback and guidance.
Empathy and Patience: Demonstrated ability to work patiently and empathetically with teens, understanding their unique challenges and aspirations.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to curate writing opportunities and manage workshop schedules effectively.
Tech-savviness: Comfortable with technology and digital platforms, as workshops and resources may be delivered online.
Previous Experience: Prior experience in writing, teaching, mentoring, or a related field would be advantageous but not mandatory.
Minimum Age Requirement: Due to the nature of the position and to better connect with teenage writers, the applicant must be at least 21 years old.
