Full Job Description

Responsibility

Using Walgreens procedures and guidelines for entering prescription data, new patient registrations are processed by entering the data into the appropriate system. Walgreens Remote Jobs. Process patient prescription requests according to HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Fixed an issue with missing prescription information and interpreting medical abbreviations (GIS codes). Fixed all exceptions related to data entry.
Handle patient correspondence (incoming calls, chat, email) and make outgoing calls to prescribers and patients as needed.
Resolve third party objections by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual package requirements. Make phone calls with insurance companies and other parties to obtain information, obtain approval for cancellations, or resolve third party objections.
Provide support to pharmacists, both on-site and off-site. Identify and communicate problems to senior staff as appropriate.
