Responsibility:
Ensure assigned group functions meet and/or exceed client expectations by working with group meeting planners to meet meeting room suite needs, food and beverage needs, audiovisual needs, as well as cross-selling resort facilities such as spas, golf and resorts to identify activities. Omni Careers.
Work with sales leaders to ensure a smooth transition and strengthen customer relationships
Support hotel site inspections and streamline on-site planning visits
Outstanding creative skills to provide innovative settings, menus and features for groups. Ability to create creative and innovative menus while working closely with the Executive Chef on special menu prices.
Prepare and detail banquet orders, charts and resumes to ensure good communication with all resort departments. Omni Careers.
Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with the banquet team to ensure a high level of comfort in the banquet operation.
Understand the monthly forecast and annual budget process.
Ability to maximize group contribution through upselling techniques.
Ability to work and negotiate with external vendors to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Adhere to attendance policies and always be available for work. This position requires long working hours, many evenings, weekends and the occasional vacation. Schedules vary based on business requests.
