HDE Settlement Coordinator is responsible for utilizing Home Depot At Home Services systems and processes to coordinate all functions related to collection of outstanding balances after order settlement. Main duties, responsibilities and main responsibilities:
- 20% – Make outbound calls to document and coordinate next steps with field service partners for all ledger tasks when processing and/or installation issues are identified as reasons for the customer to withhold payment.
- 20% – Contacting clients daily by telephone and electronic communication to settle/settle the outstanding balance on completed orders. Work with AR to review pending payments. The Home Depot Jobs.
- 20% – Daily review of customer account information for field notes and balances to determine payment status and final communication with customers to determine next steps required.
- 15% – Work with ISM/SM to resolve issues and determine other payment options when services need to be completed or orders are sent to collections.
- 15% – Take necessary steps to address customer issues preventing payments by following an escalation process with central management and field service partners and receiving status updates on open balances where field service is involved.
- 10% – Pursuing debt collection when you are unable to establish communication with the customer, or when you are able to establish communication but the customer does not agree to the terms and all other methods of resolving the dispute have failed.
Physical requirements:
- Most of the time is spent in a comfortable sitting position and there are often opportunities to move. In rare cases, it may be necessary to move or lift light objects.
Desired Qualifications:
- The backgrounds in the user’s collection are very helpful.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (especially telephone skills).
- Very organized and able to manage time effectively.
- Must focus on customer service and relationship building.
- Bilingualism is desirable but not required.
- Experience in project management is an advantage.
