Lead the creation, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of security policies and standards.

Work with Enterprises and SMBs to ensure compliance with IT policies.
Helps audit IT activities and systems to confirm compliance with information security policies.
Suggest solutions for deficiencies found in policies and standards.
Work with IT managers at various levels of the organization to understand individual security needs and help implement policies and standards.
Assist in auditing information systems activities and systems to confirm compliance with information security policies and provide management security policy compliance assessments.
Research and comply with PCI, SOX, HIPAA, etc. and adherence to industry standards.
Work with other business and legal departments to comply with new standards and laws.
Maintain a solid understanding of current and future regulatory and legal requirements.
Communicate information security policies, standards, and procedures.
Develop and implement project/program plans, coordinate the necessary resources.

REQUIRED

Working knowledge of information systems security standards and practices (e.g. access control and system hardening, system auditing and log monitoring, security policies and incident handling).
Team player and desire to build strong positive working relationships with all areas of the company.
Willing to share knowledge and help others understand technical and business issues.
Work effectively without assistance or supervision.
Innovative, creative and highly responsive with a strong sense of urgency.
Ability to use technical and business language consistently to communicate and lead effectively.

One or more professional security exams or certifications such as CISA or CISSP (or equivalent work experience).
Skills and experience in project management.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or at least 3 to 5 years of information systems security or related experience.
Understanding of network technologies such as firewalls, routers, load balancers and proxies.
Working knowledge of information systems security standards and practices (e.g. access control and system hardening, system auditing and log monitoring, security policies and incident handling).
