Job Assignment
Manage the efforts of others to achieve strategic and operational security goals. Lead strategic security activities to ensure performance standards meet company standards and all goals and objectives are met in a timely and organized manner.
Sharing information between functions to improve workflow processes. Interact with direct subordinates and colleagues in management/customers/suppliers to share information and improve cross-departmental processes. Can develop budgets for functional areas. Manage the planning budget and be responsible for the implementation/achievement of budget goals and objectives.
Research and recommend, within a defined budget, new and emerging security technologies and services that enhance the protection of an organization’s information and data.
Make recommendations for operational security plans and then be able to readjust day-to-day operations based on prevailing conditions.
This affects people inside and outside the security department. Create and present reports for all levels of management and staff.
